How To Quickly Write “Top Three Tips” Articles

For the beginner freelance writer, the most important thing is to be able to produce content quickly. As their reputation is unestablished, their pay is low, and that means that they must write quickly in order to earn a reasonable income. There are many things that determine the speed at which one can produce an article. One great way to speed up your article writing is to determine a structure for each article beforehand, so that you know roughly what you’re going to say, and so when it actually comes to writing the article itself, you shall write as quickly as physically possible. This is where using the “top three tips” structure comes in.

The essential idea is that you split the article into five 100-word paragraphs. The first paragraph is the introduction, the last paragraph is the conclusion, and the other three paragraphs are the three tips. By splitting the article in this way it makes it far easier to write quickly. If one just tries to write an article without compartmentalizing it in this way it is easy to become lost for words. By splitting the article into sections it becomes far easier.

The introductory paragraph talks around the subject of the article. It can also discuss why the article is needed, or how it shall help the reader. Its main purpose is to interest the reader so that they continue to read the rest of the article. For this reason the introductory paragraph is often the most important paragraph. It is the first impression that the reader will have of the article, and if they don’t like it they’ll stop reading. If, however, they find it engrossing, they shall probably go on to read the entire article.

Each of the paragraphs that give the tips do exactly what you would expect. These paragraphs are the meat of the article, and your job as the writer is nothing more than to explain the tips clearly, concisely, and as entertainingly as possible. If you have done your research properly, then the tips themselves will be more than enough to interest your targeted reader. At the end of the day, people will read the articles because they want to know something, and if you provide that something then they shall continue reading. That reduces the writer’s job to purely presenting the tips clearly.

Finally, the conclusion paragraph covers what was said in the article, what was learned, and can contain how to move forward. Essentially, it just wraps up everything that has been covered previously in the article, and ends the article on a high note. It is very similar to the introductory paragraph, in the sense that once you get used to writing you shall produce it quickly. With practice you shall develop strategies for writing the conclusion paragraph so that it shall come so naturally that it’ll be like you have 100 words for free.

With both the introductory and conclusion paragraphs, you can develop the knack of writing them quickly. Writing both paragraphs is an art in itself, and the more you do it the more quickly you will churn them out. As with many things, this requires both practice and some thought as to how to improve what you’re doing. When you’ve done that, it is almost like you have 200 words of every 500 word article already written because you’re so adept at writing the introductory and conclusion paragraphs. Then all you need to focus on is researching and writing the three tips.
